Guys,
   The CCGA crew has been discussing games for the August Multi-day lan.  I can promise that we will be playing some favorites from the last multi-day event.  We are also looking at incorporating some new games into the mix if they are released in time.  We really need to get a count of how many people are attending, so please register using the LAN Reg link at the top of the page.  If you don't have an account on our site then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?  Sign up for one and register! 

If we have at least 30 people pre-register for this event, then I will make sure we have a $50.00 gift card to Best Buy as a Friday night give away!  Vesper also wants to have Punch and Pie... So we may see what we can do about that.

Hows that for some incentive?  Log off of your MMO of choice and come play and socialize with some people that are in the SAME room as you!

Hi Everyone,

It's with a heavy heart that the CCGA Crew has decided to cancel the May 16th LAN.  With the slow economy and low sign ups, we've decided to let the May 16th LAN slide by, and concentrate on the August 14-15 LAN.  Hopefully with that one several months away, and a two day event, times will be a bit better, and we'll see things improve on the LAN scene.

For those that have already paid, we'll refund your $$$ in full, no worries there.  This is only the second time in 9 years we've ever canceled a LAN, and hope this will be the last for some time.

Thanks for your understanding, we'll see you at the next Carolina ARMAGEDDON! August 14-15.

Hey Gamers!

The tournaments for the next Carolina ARMAGEDDON! have been decided by the CCGA Crew, and the majority of the gamers that attended the March LAN party.  We've decided on:

FarCry 2:  5 vs. 5

Unreal Tournament 3: 5 vs. 5

Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor  1 vs. 1

We'll be setting up the exact details of each tournament, and may modify the player numbers before the LAN, but there are the tournaments!  If time permits, we may throw in a Mystery Tournament, but we'll decide that one at the LAN.  Be sure that it will be  a game that everyone can play.  Typically a demo or free game.

See you at the May 16th Carolina ARMAGEDDON!

The CCGA Crew wants to thank everyone that showed to play at this event, and helped us start the new year off right.  We had a blast, and we think everyone else did too. FarCry 2 was such a sleeper hit that have decided to do a full-fledged tournament in the game at the May 16 LAN party.

Hey Everyone,

Well, I finally got everything hooked back up, and just wanted to tell everyone thanks for another great Carolina ARMAGEDDON! The CCGA Crew really enjoyed themselves, and hope everyone else did too.  FarCry 2 sure turned out to be the big sleeper of the party. In fact, we played so much FC2 that we never really got around to having a tournament in it!  The UT3 tournament was a blast, and the Mystery Tournament was very cool (or hot ).

The Left 4 Dead tournament was less a success, but still alright. The versus mode is not quite what we thought, so we'll work at it and bring that one back in the future.

Photos will go up in the next few days.  Spectrallight's new camera took some amazing shots, and I've just to get them sized and posted.
